Afternoon Activities
The Backpacker trains are the most economical way to travel between Cusco/ Ollantaytambo/Machu Picchu.
This service is ideal for our adventure passengers or for those seeking comfort and security, without all the frills.
These carriages offer travelers a true Peruvian experience. Seats are upholstered with indigenous fabrics, giving a touch of local flavor. Snacks are served at an additional cost and additional storage space is available for backpacks.
There are two Backpacker services, one which runs between Cusco and Machu Picchu, and the second Backpacker service which runs between The Sacred Valley (Ollantaytambo) - Machu Picchu.

- 6:25a.m. Transfer from your hotel to the train station.
- 6:50a.m. train depart from San Pedro train station to Machupicchu.
- 10:50a.m. train arrive to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town)
- 11:00a.m. board the bus for 25 minutes to Machu Picchu Inca City.
- 11:30a.m.You will meet your guide near the snack bar of Sanctuary Lodge.
- 11:40a.m.Your tour guide show you the highlights of Machu Picchu.
AFTERNOON ACTIVITIES:
- After the tour Buffet Lunch at Sanctuary Lodge restaurant.
- After the lunch you still have time to explore on your own for a wile Machu Picchu.
