The topography of the Urubamba Mountain Range offers to the people whose like the adventure trip beginning from the cold high lands then through the warm jungle several opportunities to enjoy the trip. This is the most amazing and exciting jungle trip to Machu Picchu with bikes and trek the first day cover 4 or 5 hours dawn hill approx. by bike. Second day you will discover more adventures along the mountains, valleys, rivers and crossing smalls villages with farmers of coca plantations, coffee and a lot of kind of fruits and walking on the old real Inca trail which connect to the city of the Incas. After the trek you will have optional time to relax in the hot spring which is good for rheumatism, stress.

After a breakfast at your hotel, we pick you up at 7:00 am. Then you will be transfer by Bus or Van to our starting point of our adventure. We leave the city seeing beautiful natural surroundings with rolling hills until we reach the town of Chinchero overlooking the Sacred Valley. After descending into the Sacred Valley of the Incas you arrive to Urubamba town then for a brief stop at Ollantaytambo where we start uphill by our car to the ABRA MALAGA at 4350m.a.s.l. from this point is more or less 30 minutes to the next place Carrizales where we stop for lunch, after that we descend to the hot valleys of the high jungle towards QUILLABAMBA, this downhill will last about 5 hours, passing by little rustic villages, ravines, fruit groves and streams. During the trip we'll stop 2 times to visit the archeological centers of Inkatambo, resting place of trekker during the Inca Time for the route which came up from the jungles to the highlands and continuing with Huamanmarka (Falcon Land) with a main plaza, a sacred temple, urban sector, administrative areas, agricultural terraces at riverside there is a religious or ceremonial center (Ushnu). After to explore both places we arrive to the first major town of Santa Maria about 6pm. Over night in lodge with basic services after de dinner we will have a small summary about the day then briefing for the next day.
Wake up early during the morning and after a good breakfast including local fruits we start our trek along the Urubamba River for about 1 hour. Then the trail is with ascends and descends where in some areas we walk along the ancient Inca jungle trail full of rocks and stones with some steps on it, after that you will have you unforgettable experience crossing the river using old Oroyas a kind of cable car (an iron basket run along the iron cable) along the trail farming fields with several fruits, medicinal plants bananas, avocados, yuca, mangos, pineapples, oranges, pacay, tangerines, cacao, coffee and coca plantation etc. then we arrive to Qellumayu where we stop to rest and lunch. After we will continue our trek along the river right to the hot springs of Santa Teresa. Optional hot spring visit then another 45 minutes to arrive to the second major town of SANTA TERESA, by 6pm. Over night in lodge with basic services after de dinner we will have a small summary about the day then briefing for the next day.
Wake up early at 7am. After the breakfast we stat our trek first one to the Machu Picchu Hydroelectric Power Station. This part of the trek is with amazing waterfall we have options to see cascades and specially one falling from approximately 45m. Here is the option to get a shower in one of these. The trek is with great variety of butterflies, parrots, lizards, birds, insects, once we arrive to Machu Picchu Hydro electric small village with some shops for drinks we will have our lunch. After lunch we continue our trek to reach to our final destination today AGUAS CALIENTES TOWN (At the foot of Machu Picchu) approx. at 5:30pm. Over night in lodge with basic services after de dinner we will have a small summary about the day then briefing for the next day.
Early wake up call at 4:30pm to have enough time to climb up the steep path to the MACHU PICCHU Sanctuary in about 1:30 h. and watch the sunrise, then you will have a private guiding for about 2hours, after that you will be free until noon to relax, take snapshots, walk and also climb up to the Wayna Picchu summit or just stroll to the Intipunku or the Inca Bridge.
We return down to Aguas Calientes town at 1:30pm, just to be on time to each the train back to Ollantaytambo. (Train departures at 2.26 or 6:03 pm). You will be advice for your guide.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: According to the new Inca Trail regulations, The Machu Picchu Sanctuary authorities allow only 500 people to enter to Inca Trail every day including Cooks, porters, Guides. Each one who enters that day needs to be listed on a permit form, provided by the park authorities in advance. Booking will be only guaranteed if you reconfirm your trip date, providing FULL NAMES, PASSPORT NUMBERS, NATIONALITIES, GENDER, OCCUPATION AND DATE OF BIRTH. (All those information will be how appear in your passport), Students required for Entrance Fee discount the Valid (no Expired) International Student Identity Card (ISIC) and must be under 26 year of age.
